Project NOVAGATE—Growing America Through Entrepreneurship—is designed to help dislocated adult job seekers over 45 years old start and expand their own small business in Northern Virginia. NOVAGATE was created through a partnership between the Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration (DOL/ETA), the Virginia Community College System and the SkillSource Group, Inc. Participants in the project will be given access to special training and assistance in applying for small business loans.

CURRENT NEWS:

Through partnerships with the Northern Virginia Pro Bono Law Center and Katie Larkin, PLC, NOVAGATE clients can access free legal services for issues related to building their businesses, such as contract and lease reviews, real estate matters, government contracts, corporate structure, government contracting, intellectual property, and similar transactional matters. So far nine participants have used these services and sign up has begun for the February session. More News >
